Mohawk Valley Estate Sales provides you with a quick and easy way to downsize before a move or sell the entire contents of a home. We take care of all your sales needs whether you live in the home or miles away. And we can clean the home from top to bottom and dispose of all debris, making the house ready for new owners.

Mohawk Valley Estate Sales is Veteran owned by Jeffrey Jones, a retired U.S. Air Force Security Police and a retired teaching assistant at Fort Plain Central School.

 

Our Services 

Organize
Everything

  • We organize, arrange and display all items to be sold.
  • If we discover items that appear to be of great sentimental or dollar value, we will consult you prior to the sale.
  • We use available shelves and similar areas for display purposes and will provide additional tables, wood crates and metal shelving units as necessary.
  • To a limited extent, we will clean the area where the sale is to be conducted, gather and dispose of items that cannot be sold.

Price
Everything

  • We will appraise all items to be sold and mark prices on them using price stickers, tags or signs that we provide.
  • If an item’s value is beyond expertise, we may engage an outside expert at our expense.
  • Your input is welcome on the value of specific items.
  • All items – new, used, collectible, and antiques – will be priced at the estate sale live; below retail and above second hand. Our search tools include: reference materials and guides, internet research, eBay.com, Kovels (the go-to resource for antiques and collectibles), and our own knowledge and experience.

Promote
Your Sale

  • We’ll arrange appropriate advertising and signage at our expense.
  • Your sale will be listed on EstateSales.net, Craigslist, Oneida/Herkimer/ Montgomery Estate Sales and more.
  • Ads will be placed in area specific editions of the Pennysaver and MyShopper.
  • We’ll promote your event on free Facebook pages including ours, Mohawk Valley Estate Sales and our website (mvestatesale.com).
